Jody Hahn
Jody began practicing yoga in 2001, inspired by a friend who casually demonstrated a handstand at work. She vividly remembers her first class—the physical challenge, the deep focus, and the exhilarating sense of clarity. She was hooked. Two years later, she completed the Teacher Training Program at The Center for Yoga in Los Angeles and has been teaching ever since.
Her classes are rooted in a vigorous vinyasa style, emphasizing flowing movement, mindful breath, and postural alignment. With both hands-on and verbal adjustments, Jody supports students in learning, exploring, and growing in their practice. While her classes can be physically demanding, she makes them approachable and accessible to all levels.
Jody’s teaching is infused with the philosophy that growth is an ongoing process—best expressed by adding the word “yet” to any limitation: “I can’t do this (yet).” “I’m not flexible (yet).” She meets each student where they are, offering encouragement and a gentle push toward their potential. Expect to sweat, learn, and share a few laughs along the way.
